Landscaping

Landscaping

Landscaping is part of what we do — gardens, patios, paths, planting, and outdoor living space, not only the house itself. Family gardens and larger plots; if you are not sure it is our kind of job, ask.

How we work

Delivery detail for landscaping.

Garden landscaping that matches the house

A finished garden should work with the house, not sit as an afterthought. We take on landscaping as a job in its own right: overgrown plots, new lawns and borders, paths that actually drain, and planting that looks right against stone, brick, and timber. We work across Matlock, Derby, Nottingham, Chesterfield, and Sheffield — family gardens as well as larger grounds.

If you already have a landscape design, we can build from it. If you have a rough idea and photos, we can still advise on what is practical: levels, drainage, access for materials, and a programme you can live with if you are using the house during the work.

Patios, paths, cobbles, and outdoor living

Hard landscaping is where gardens fail if it is rushed: paving that ponds, cobbles that shift, steps that do not meet the door threshold. We set falls, edges, and junctions so the patio, path, or courtyard stays useable. That includes cobbled drives and courtyards, stone and slab patios, and outdoor kitchen or dining areas tied into the garden.

We often complete landscaping at the end of an extension or renovation so the outside is finished to the same standard as the build. We also take on landscaping on its own — a garden refresh, a new path, or a courtyard — without a larger building project attached.

How we run a landscaping job

Typical landscaping work moves through clearance, levels and drainage, hard landscaping (paths, patios, walls), then lawns, planting, and finishing. We sequence so you are not paying people to wait on materials, and we keep access to the house practical while the garden is open.

Quotes cover the scope you asked for — planting, paving, or both — with a straight answer on budget band and likely programme. Smaller landscaping jobs are welcome. You do not need a full estate garden for us to take it on.
